what a pain to install. couldn’t figure it out.

 

“Causes loading problems” 

In combination with Elementor, this plugin causes some sites to be loaded incorrectly. I had to tweak the settings several times to fix this. When the loading problems occurred for the third time, I removed the plugin. Can’t afford those bugs. Creators are not interested in fixing. Will look for another cache plugin which works without problems.

 

 

 

 

I had no problems downloading this plug-in and I like what the plug-in has to offer.

bbPress 

WHat does it do? bbPress is forum software with a twist from the creators of WordPress.

Details- bbPress is easy to integrate, easy to use, and is built to scale with your growing community.

Negative Reviews: 

“Wrecks your roles; impossible to clean up after – AVOID THIS PLUGIN”

 

We wanted to try BBPress but we discovered quickly that it caused way too many problems with roles & permissions for the site. So we removed it. But it turns out that for at least 8 years bbPress has known the roles can’t be removed cleanly and they just shrug and say “not important.” So, I recommend you NOT INSTALL THIS PLUGIN. It will leave ugly traces behind itself like a nasty WordPress slug and you’ll waste hours googling it and trying to fix it to no avail. It’s old, it’s ugly, and it’s a mess

 

“Broke admin access. Goodbye”

I had installed this to test it out and had deactivated it, and it broke admin access to my site, twice, overwriting permissions for my admin account.

NEVER touching this plugin again, especially after reading that this has been an ongoing issue for years now. Cost me a lot of time and effort, not to mention IT fees in order to diagnose the issue so that I could access the admin tools to delete it.

Goodbye! I will be sure to find your other plugins and avoid them as well.

 

After I was reading the negative comments, I was scared to activate the plug-in. Therefore, I do not have much of a review, however it can’t be good if I was afraid to active it.
